ugh I have had that exact same thought (even though i don’t really want kids, I know that feel)

Yeah, I mean, I know 100% that I want children someday. So it’s such a weird thought. The likelihood that I could be a stay-at-home mom is so slim. Right now I want to be a stay-at-home cat lady though. I’m having separation anxiety. I miss her little face.

Sometimes during the day at work, I miss my cat a whole lot. Like a stupid amount. No one should miss an animal as much as I miss my cat right now. I want to hear her little meow and say, “Whatchu doin’ Silly Bug?” and have her run over and nibble my ankle like she does sometimes. I call her Silly Bug a lot, I don’t know why that’s the nickname she has. This all makes me rather concerned for the future time if/when I am a mother and potentially have to work rather than be at home with my kid(s). If I miss my silly PET as much as I do right now, how the fuck will I even function when I miss my hypothetical BABY?
