Mornings like today, when I inevitably feel kind of yucky and consider foregoing a shower in favor of sleeping in and a ponytail, I’m glad I have my cat. She enables me to get another 30 minutes, not sleep but cuddle time. Then she’ll stick her claws in my boob and start licking my face until I can’t take it anymore and I have to get up and get myself going.
